- Soybean oil exports generated Rs 18.91 billion, while sunflower oil exports brought in Rs 4.98 billion.
Carpets contributed Rs 5.61 billion, cardamom Rs 4.56 billion, and tea Rs 2.96 billion to export earnings.

Diesel was the top imported item, worth Rs 54.36 billion, followed by petrol at Rs 32.14 billion and LPG at Rs 29.79 billion.
-Raw materials for soybean oil ranked fifth among the most imported goods, valued at Rs 20.17 billion and mainly sourced from Argentina.
Raw materials for sunflower oil ranked eighth, with imports valued at Rs 11.67 billion, primarily from Ukraine.
-In December, imports surged by Rs 161 billion, the first time monthly imports exceeded Rs 150 billion, indicating growing domestic demand.
Nepal's trade deficit increased by 4.38%, reaching Rs 723.58 billion during the review period due to higher import expenses than export earnings.
